downloaded Outlook 2007 but have lost my old e-mails & folders

I have just downloaded Outlook 2007 from Microsoft updates, but I lost my
e-mails and folders from the older version, can any one tell me how to
retrieve them. It would be much appreciated.

Outlook (the full program) isn't available from the Microsoft Update site,
as far as I know. Also, which version of Outlook were you using prior to the
OL2007 instal?

MS Outlook is not available for download from MS updates. You have to
purchase it somewhere.

Thanks Vince. I was using windows mail and downloaded an upgraid to the junk
filter, so when I rebooted it came back outlook 2007. I am using Vista
Ultimate.

Ah ha... looks like your default mail client might have been reset. Simply
open Windows Mail from the Start Menu and set it as the default mail client
again and all should be well. Your mail should be safely stored in there
