Downloaded pictures go away

I've asked this twice before, but the MVP's never answer.

I do not download any pictures by default, not even from people in my
address book. Sometimes I manually download the pictures from trusted
senders by clicking on the download link in the Preview window.
However, when I revisit the same emails on another day, the pictures
are no longer there AND there is no download link.

How do I get the pictures downloaded again?

We do our best to respond to questions, but we don't have answers to all
enquiries. MVPs are volunteers not MS employees.

Are the pictures an attachment or are they in the body of the message? Can
you give more info.

Sorry if I came across bad. I appreciate the wrork you all do.
Especially since MS support is ridiculously overpriced.

These are the typical newsletters where the pictures are links and are
not included in the email. When the picture is included, it is not
usually a problem.

I'm still a bit unclear as to how the pictures are obtained. If you click on
a link, then the photo is not included in the message but is available via a
web site. If you cannot get the photos from the link, then it's possible the
sender has deleted those photos. You would need to select download photo on
the website if you want to save. There is no way for Entourage to keep
something that is available only via a web browser.

If I'm off base with this, it would be helpful if you copy/pasted an
example. You can block the original address, but seeing how the material is
presented would help.
