Downloaded SP2 Now Outlook Won't Send POP3 Mail

Dave

Someone please help! I downloaded SP2 and had so many problems with
it (won't allow playing of online games) that I uninstalled it. Now
Outlook 2000 won't send my POP3 Yahoo mail. Recieves just
fine...Won't send. I checked and double checked all the settings,
reinstalled the Yahoo account, reinstalled Outlook, turned off
Norton... nothing works.

Error message is: The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by
server. Error Number 0x800ccc0f

Have seen other postings on this, but no answers. Anyone got a fix?

Running Office 2000 Professional for on Windows XP. Internet
connection is Comcast Cable through Linksys wired router.

Try a "repair" on your network connection.

If that doesn't work, try lowering your MTU to 1492. (Linksys routers don't
like to report back to the client operating system that they need to lower
their MTU in order to have packets pass thru them.)
