downloading my webiste to edit offline

Hi, I'm new to this whole web site creation thing. I
need to know how to download my site and be able to save
it on my hard drive so I can edit it off line. If anyone
can help me with this I would be ever greatful. thank you

Shannon -

Open the website in FP, then Publish (don't Import) it to your local
hard drive.

if you're using Frontpage publish, then publish from the server to your machine.
If you're using normal FTP, same thing,transfer the files to your hard
disk/folder of your choice.
