This problem just started today, though I've
linked/imported tables from various sources (text, Excel,
Access) in these databases before.
I link or import a table (import a text file to a table,
link a table from another Access database) and either the
import doesn't complete (just locks up) or the link
doesn't function (and will not be deleted).
If I wait long enough, I get a Dr. Watson
error: "Exception number: c0000005" (access violation)
is what the log reads.
We've just changed locations and with that are on a new
network, so I'm having to establish new links in serveral
databases, so solving this problem is obviously business-
critical for me.
Thanks for your help,
