Dragan for Office MVP !

Dear public community and Microsoft people,

I would like to suggest Mr. Dragan Grbic for an Office MVP title. The
only reason he hasn't been noticed for MVP is because he discusses only
in his native language: Serbo-Croat. He is helping people with their
Office issues for free for 13 years, for almost every day! Besides the
internet forums, he publishes good multi-page articles on Office every
month in the PC Press Magazine (Belgrade). Besides those articles he
has a column about Office tips'n'tricks. He also runs a very good
website with a lot of material (it has been made with Office of course)
http://www.praktikum.co.yu
He published unique and the best book in Serbian about Ofiice.

Honestly, many people would agree that he should've earned a lot of MVP
titles. Giving an MVP title to such a person is a must. You can contact
him through his website.

Mounting a public campaign for someone for Microsoft MVP is not the best way to go about it, nor is it particularly helpful to do so in an English news group. Most of the readers here couldn't care less what someone does in their native language to support or denigrate Microsoft or its products.

Post this to a Serbo-Croat news group and the localized folks who read that news group as well as Microsoft EMEA employees are free to make their choices based on what they see. Your campaigning will do nothing except highlight that someone does not have a clue about how MVPs are selected.

This is a WOB here.

Dear Milly Staples,
The only reason he is not an MVP is because there are no local
Serbo-Croat public Microsoft Office newsgroups, he helps in other
public internet forums and by various other means. The results can also
be easily verified on his free website and local IT business magazines.
Not electing such a person for an MVP can only harm Microsoft
reputation. He obvously doesn't do it for the title as he helps people
almost every day, for free, for at least 12 years, and as his work is
public many people know that.

Mounting a public campaign is not the way to go? Please tell me more
about this. The way I got it, you get noticed in public groups and get
an MVP title.. I wasn't addressing the users.

Thanks,
Milan Kosanovic
