Dragging formulas in inported data

Hi,

Am working with data inported from Access for the first time, and it's not allowing me to drag formula's across, any ideas why?

What results are you getting? Does it drag the formula but not calculate?
What is the formula you're trying to drag?

allowing me to drag formula's across, any ideas why?

just a simple AVERAGE, when I drag it just takes across the previous value, although it shows the formula in the formula bar.

Hi

It sounds like your calculation is set to manual. Go to Tools / Options /
Calculation and check it! This is set by the first spreadsheet you open in
the sessions of Excel.
