Drawing Objects Do Not Show Up When Print

When I print a word document with lines, shapes or tables in it, those
objects do not show up when I have an envelope inserted in the document.
They do show up when there is no envelope. What is the problem and how do I
solve it? I have a new Mac desktop with Office for Mac 2008 and an HP
Laserjet 1012 printer.
