drawing tools

The drawing toolbar has shapes, but I can't figure out anyway to put labels
to the shapes; I can't figure out how to put labels to the shape so that
they will stick to the shape and move with the shape. Is there anyway to do
that? If not how are the shapes supposed to be used?

That can't be done. The shapes are intended to be used in a quick and
dirty manner while taking notes.

Perhaps in a future version...
