DRAWINGS DISAPPEARING

All pictures or clip art which are inserted into
documents have disappeared during print preview and
actual printing. Can see them on the computer screen.
Have tried turning off "picture placeholders" and turning
on "drawings". Nothing works. This is a sudden change
in the way the computer functions again as it did happen
once before and I corrected it by doing the foregoing.
Please help

Hi, RENEE. Could it be that you have formatted the pictures as hidden? Try selecting a picture, then click on Format | Font. Is the "Hidden" box checked?

Renee,

It sounds like the options you describe are View options - they affect
whether the drawings are viewable on-screen, not in the printout. There
should be a separate Print option to include drawing objects when the
document is printed (on my Word 2000, Tools>Options>Print tab).
