I have a series of drop down boxes defining the year auto owned by the user.
I have succeeded in setting the conditions for entry, and have not checked
the REQUIRED box . The list is set for numbers only. If, however, I do not
fill out one of the boxes, I get an error message on SUBMIT saying the box
needs an entry between 08 and 26 (the car years in question). My question,
what is making an entry in the drop down box required. Does the conditional
statement "Field must be" and the one that follows make it mandatory that
the box have any entry. If so, how can I override that and allow users to
either enter numbers or leave it blank?
