DROP DOWN LIST

I have a worksheet that allows me to select data from a
list in several cells. The person who set this up no
longer is around. Does anyone knowhow this was
accomplished?

When I go to a cell a drop down arrow appears. I click on
the arrow and a list appears that I can select data from.
I would like to add to the list.
I just don't know how cells can be set up to do this.
