drop down menus - why is this so difficult?

Microsoft says on their own web site that nearly every site uses drop down
menus

If so, why am I designing code from 1000 posts on this site? I do not know
html. I just want to run a business.

And you may want to consider leaving the web dev. to others and run your
business, it's something that many people should consider. Many find it not
as easy as they thought to design and maintain a web.

It also says that most don't work with all web browser programs, so
hire a programmer to do the website while you sell. You do want a menu
that all can use, right?
