Drop Down - Shopping Cart

I am developing an e-commerce site. I have created two drop downs. The
first contains the sizes of the shirts, the second drop down specifies adult
or youth. When I click to "Add to Cart" what goes to the cart is the price,
shirt description. How do I get it to read the size and whether or not it
is an adult or youth shirt?
