Dropdown Menu

In A1, I have a drop down menu with YES or NO as choices. Now, if YES is
selected, I would like the date to automatically appear in B1. If the answer
is NO, then I would like the cell to remain clear.

Any ideas?

=IF(A1="YES",TODAY(),"")
