DsoFramer, Word 2003 and the 2007 file format

Hello,

When attempting to view a Word 2007 format document using the
DsoFramer, the file will not open with the following error message:

Unable to open document.
(-2147217149): The associated COM server does not support
ActiveX Document embedding.

The system I'm running this on has Word 2003 installed with the
Compatibility Pack for the 2007 file format. Opening the .docx
file using Word 2003 proper is not a problem.

Any insight much appreciated,

Pls elaborate ...

What's the platform y're programming from?
Is that VB.net 2005 or VSTO?

Do you have a DSOFramer control on yr form in VB.net 2005.
Are you programming a template in VSTO?

I presume the interop assembly of the platform y're programming in can't
cope with the document that needs to be
embedded/represented in the DSOframer control on a form, but the parameters
of the platform could make a
difference, causing yr problem.
