Dual Display as separate process

Hope someone can help...

I am trying to configure Powerpoint 97 on a Windows 98 PC
with dual display capabilities to run on the second
screen (a plasma screen). I have tried to run it, but
whenever Powerpoint loses the focus (i.e. to do something
on the primary display) the presentation stops running.

Is there something I am missing?

I need the presentation to keep running all day, whilst
leaving the primary display to sunction as a normal PC.

Look at PowerKiosk add-in at

PowerPoint 97 and PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html if you are running
PowerPoint 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003. These add-ins enable you to run slide
show on one monitor while you work on something else on other monitors.
