Dual windows of Outlook 2003

How do I stop dual pages of outlook 2003 from loading one behind the other.

Sorry I've taken so long to answer I've been away. When I start up Outlook &
During the downloading of my e-mails a second Outlook page is directly behind
the original page. Which I have to close of first or Outlook goes Tropo! Does
that make any sense?

Not really, but we can go from here.

Are you saying that at the moment when starting Outlook an additional main
Outlook is opened as well?
Could you verify in Task Manager if the outlook.exe process is in fact only
running once?
Does the same happen when you start Outlook in Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
