Dulplicated recurring tasks

Exception days are messing with my with recurring tasks, causing repeats. I
have the 12/24-12/25 holidays in as exceptions, and the recurring task I have
out through 12/09 shows Monday, 12/28 5 times? There are other dates which
also repeat. Obviously, this is showing as over allocated on resources. Is
there something I'm doing causing the dates to repeat?

Hi Nick,

When you create recurring tasks and they conflict with nonworking
time, Project asks upon creation of the recurring task what you want
to do with the recurring tasks that occur during nonworking time.
My guess is that you chose to reschedule them.

Do you have multiple recurring tasks occurring on a single day? If
you had two recurring tasks scheduled for 12/24 & 12/25, I would
expect to see them rescheduled to the next working day -- Monday
12/28. I'd suggest just deleting the extra recurrences.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
