Tools->Send/Receive->Send/Receive Settings->Edit Send/Receive Settings. On
the first page of the window, you can set your polling interval there - it
will cause an automatice send/receive when you open Outlook.

account will be deleted without reading.
After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, mb asked:
