DUpdate or DInsert

VBA gives us DLookup, DMin, DMax, DSum, and DCount, why not DUpdate or DInsert?

I know how to use the CurrentProject.Connection.Execute, but wouldn't it be
a bit simpler (and symetrical) to have DUpdate and DInsert for simple tasks?

Why not write your own? It's pretty straight-forward, and then you'll have
them whenever you need them.
