duplicate emails in outlook 02

I was using the 2007 trial.
Have now gone back to Outlook 02.
Every email I receive is duplicated.
Looked on google and can't seem to find a straighforward fix.
Any suggestions?

Your email settings are probably set to leave a copy of the email on the
server, I think Outlook sees the mail as new mail and has made an excutive
decision to download all the mail from the server again creating duplicates
of mail you have in your inbox.
