Duplicate emails in Outlook only

WinXP Professional, Outlook 2000
For quite a while now I have been getting duplicate emails when downloading
them using Outlook. I can check the web server (AT&T WorldNet) online
before downloading and there are no duplicates there. I have also tried
another email program and there are no duplicates there either. The problem
must be with Outlook (occasionally I get a triplicate).

Any ideas?
