Duplicate entries in Outlook

I have restored some Exchange accounts from a couple of
backup tapes and now have duplicate entries showing in
Outlook's Inbox and Calendar.

How dod I remove these duuplicates?

Manually or using third party apps such as those at www.sperrysoftware.com
How did you do the restore? Did you use brick-level (individual mailbox)
backup/restore? This is generally not recommended practice.
