duplicate query wizard

i am having real trouble with duplicate query wizards- as soon as i
run the query, the entire database gets closed and then opens up as a
back up. I tried compacting and repariing the database. But it is not
working. PLs help wih any advice

does that happen for all queries or just one specific query

it is happening with all duplicate query wizards. I use two to three
access databases. It is happening in all the databases. Only this
wizard.
