Duplicate Spotlight results from Entourage and Apple apps

Is there a way to restrict Spotlight to returning address or calendar
results from Entourage only - not from iCal or Apple Contacts? Any
person search seems to bring up multiple duplicate entries from Apple
contacts as well as the same entry from Entourage Address book (same
thing for iCal and Entourage). Isn't there a way to specify that I
want Entourage results only? If I uncheck contacts or Calendar from
the Spotlight preferences, I don't get ANY address or calendar results
returned.

Open System Preferences, then go to the Spotlight section. Click on the
Privacy tab, then click on the "+" button just below the list to add the
following folders: ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book and
~/Library/Application Support/iCal. Your Address Book and iCal data should
no longer show up in your Spotlight search results.

Not so. I added both of these to the privacy tab and there is no
effect.

Try dragging these folders into the "privacy" box:
/Users/<Your User>/Library/Caches/com.apple.AddressBook
/Users/<Your User>/Library/Caches/com.apple.iCal

Nope. No effect. And if I uncheck the contacts and events tabs from
Spotlight preferences it doesn't retrieve any address or calendar
entries.

Unfortunately, this is an effect of the way that spotlight works in 10.4 -
both entourage and mail items are classified as the same kind of entity and
cannot be distinguished - I haven't yet seen how 10.5 will change things (if
it does), but I hope to next week!
