duplicate summary task and subtaks viewed by resources

I revised my project and added the revised WBS into project plan then tried
colloborate/new and changed assignments.

My resources warned me that they had seen duplicate revised summary task and
its subtaks. When I open the project with MS PRoject client or from PWA
/projects tab, I see no problem. But when I examine the activities from view
resource assignments , I observe that my resources' warnings are true.

I changed the name of that problem task to understand what is the impact of
the problem and observed that one of duplicate summary tasks' name was
changed.

two of my resources entered actual work into problem one, the others entered
to duplicate summary task.

I republish the project plan. The problem remains the same.
I pusblish the project plan. The same problem continues.


Would you please helpme about the situation?

You are directly the cause of this problem. You cannot publish a master
project without duplicating the task assignments on each user's timesheet in
PWA. Therefore, your Project Server administrator needs to delete your
project from the Project Server database and then disable the permission
that is allowing the publishing of master projects. He/she can leave the
permission enabled that allows you to save a master project, however, as
this does not cause any problems. From there, you can recreate the master
project and save it in the system. Hope this helps.
