duplicate web assignments

we are running PS2003 w/ SP3 and I am new to supporting this tool. A few of
the PMs are getting spooler error that reads SYSTEM ERROR 0x80004005. There
are no local resources and all inactive resources have had thier workgroups
set to none and windows authentication removed. we have also added the FQDN
to the Bypass List on the client pc as instructed in one of the ms support
articles.

I suspect that our problem may be caused by duplicate assignments. How do we
verify this and how do we correct duplicate assignments?
