Duration and Remaining Duration is missing

Hi All:

Background:
---------------
I am getting an issue in PWA 2007. I am not able to see/add 'Duration' and
'Remaining Duration' fields in 'My Assignment' view under 'My Work' page.

Note: I have 2 instances of PWA 2007. One environment is showing both fields
but other instance NOT.

Questions:

1- Do you know why it is happening and how to solve it? Very annoying...

2- Is it possible in any ways to make remaining Duration Editable field in
Task's detail page under My Work page? My Client wants to enter days in
'Remaining Duration' field when they enter progress against a Task.

I would appreciate for your quick response.

Thank you,

Thanks Gary for your email. Yes both environments are same in all ways. In
fact in my Dev environment, we have 2 instances of PWA. One instance shows
the Remaining Duration and Duration but other not. Strange!! I create a new
PWA instance and it was not showing those fields...

I followed your provided link to make a reference to the missing field but
unfortunately it did not work out for me.

Note:
During investigation, I ran SQL Profiler to find out what SQL is running
behind the scene, and found a stored procedure and then a Table using for
this purpose to populate the fields in the list in Assignment view. That were
Flag fields to show which fields you have to use. After updating those Flag
fields (Duration & Remaining Duration), I was able to see those fileds in
Assignment Detail view in DEV environment without breaking anything. This is
a work around but I prefer not to update anything in Database level.

Thanks,

I wish I could give you some meaningful information, but I'm as mystified as
you are. I've sent a note to the product team and will let you know if I
hear back from them.
