Duration times by units

I have just been given the responsibility of scheduling our PCB
manufacturing process and was looking to see if there is a template or some
example files for doing this,



I have made up a simple project but have found that I am unable to do some
things with-in the program.



Loading components = 25min.

Total units = 250

Time to load all = 6250min

Duration = 104.17hrs



How do you get Project to calculate this itself, as this is a common thing
for the manufacturing industry.

Not really. Project is not designed as a manufacturing and production
scheduling tool and is a less than optimal tool for you to use for a variety
of reasons, not just this one. It's simply not designed to handle open
ended activities such as manufacturirig - it is Project Management software
designed for critical path scheduling of projects and a project is a closed
system of activities with observable beginning and ending points that
results in a unique product, service, or result deliverable in the end.
Once the deliverable is achieved the project is done and everyone goes home.
Some manufacturing products are sufficiently unique in each order,
commercial aircraft for example , that they fit the project model but most
products don't.
