DVD/CD-RW Drive not recognized

I recently replaced my DVD/CD-RW drive, but now when I boot up, a get a
screen indicating that Drive 5 cannot be found. The computer continues
through startup after that, but the DVD/CD-RW drive is not recognized. Do I
need a new driver? Is there something I can do to have the computer search
for the drive? Please help.

I can click the button on the drive itself and it will open and close and
the light will come on, but it isn't reading disks. I use Microsoft Office XP
Professional. Thx

This sure sounds like a Windows problem, not an Office problem. Try posting
in a group for your version of Windows.
