Dyanamically loading images in a report

Dennis

I’m using Access via Office XP.

I need to generate a report that can have three different signatures on it.
Each signature is in a .jpg file. Based upon a flag that is set in a “data
selection / option / menu†form that is run from the report “On Open†event,
I would like to have one of three different signature print on the form.

I have about 20 forms that need this functionality and the signatures
usually change about once a year. Also, I have three different offices and
each of the offices have a different people who are responsible for these
forms. So I have a total of 60 signatures that can change each year.

I know that I can have three different images on the form and hide the ones
I do not need. However, that means that I have to load the images on to the
forms each year, which I do not want to do.

Ideally, I would have the .jpg file name for each signature stored in a
table. When the user indicates which signature I should use, I would like to
dynamically load the signature .jpg file in the report’s “On Open†event (or
some other event if needed).

I can convert the signature .jpg files into some other graphic format is
needs (.bmp or gif) if needed.

Thank you for your assistance.
