dynamic effects

I am trying to apply dynamic effects on a word art banner I made and I keep
geeting an error reading

Word Art is built using Vector Markup Language (VML) and as such should
never be used in a webpage.
Being VML, there is no image for the dynamic effects to work on - unless you
never use Internet Explorer for browsing.

As a workaround, convert your WordArt to conventional .jpg graphics by
making a screen dump (alt+PrtScrn) of the WordArt, and paste into a graphics
editor. Then crop and save for web as a .jpg image. Use the .jpg image in
the web pages.
