I am building a database to replace a paper system that keeps a record for
each mold being used at the plant. With each mold is a specific number of
cavities (1, 12, 16, 64, 96, etc). Each mold has a certain numbering system
for the tools that can be placed within the caviites, there being a seperate
set of tools for each moldset (1A, 1B, A16, etc).
The problem I am running up against is how to mimic the current paper form
that shows a diagram of the actual mold and which tool is in which cavitiy
for each time the mold is put into use.
How can I create a dynamic form that will keep the tools in order and within
a set grid for each mold so that the employees only have to pick out which
tool is where for that particular job and make modifications as necessary?
