dynamic queries

I have an Access 2003 database with multiple tables, queries, and
forms. An example of what I am trying to do is the following
have table data and table location I want to display on a form all the
data that is at location X (where X is the input from a displayed
input box). I have a lot more tables that I need to do similar queries
with. Have tried VBA coding with SQL queries and no luck...

Thanks for ideas/help

I don't understand your description well enough to offer specific
suggestions ...

What does "table location" have to do with "data that is at location X"?

I have a table named data and a table named location. User will enter
a location value (say US) into an input box and want to know all data
that resides in that location

Are you saying (implying) that one of the pieces of information in the
"table" named data you have a field that contains a value for
"location" ?

For your future reference, Access may be treating the term "data" as a
reserved word, thinking you mean something else.

I'm still unclear ... how are your "data" and "location" tables related?
