Dynamic Range Naming

Good evening all,

Hopefully there is an easy explanation for this.
I have been 'naming' my ranges, via the insert/define/name,
(rather than simply highlighting my table, and typing it's name into the name box)
My question being, is that why does my new named range, NOT appear int the drop-down list of the name box?

If its just a named range it should still show up but if a "defined" range
it won't. You can type the name in the name box to check or use 5 goto and
type in the name.

dynamic names don't appear in the dropdown.
