Dynamic Scheduling

Microsoft's website states one of the new features of Project 2003 is:
Dynamic scheduling. Immediately assess the impact of task and resource
changes to your overall project schedule and prioritize work effectively.

Does anyone know how this is different than Project 2000? (need the info to
justify upgrading my company to 2003)
If it's truly a new feature where do I look for additional assistance, since
Project 2003's help yeilds no answers to dynamic scheduling.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sean,

Well, I'm not sure what the marketing folks at Microsoft meant about
"dynamic scheduling" being a new feature of the Project 2003 release.
As far back as I have been using Project (back to the Windows 3.1 days),
the product has always helped to create dynamic schedules due to the
capability of creating predecessor and successor relationships and
resource leveling. Both were features as far back as I can remember.

The link below gives a comparison chart between Project 2000 and Project
2003 Standard. (Oddly enough it appears to be from Microsoft Office
Portugal), but it is written in English):

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
