Dynamically assemble slides

Is there a way to dynamically assemble separate PowerPoint files into a
single presentation? My organization has a large number of separate
PowerPoint files in various document libraries on our SharePoint server. We
are using URL hyperlinks to connect the slides together at presentation time.
This is tedious and error prone. Is there a better way to do this?
