E-mail account inbox assignments

I like many people have more than one e-mail account. I would like to be able
to when downloading my e-mail be able to send each account's mail to its own
separate inbox. Therefore how do I assign each e-mail account to download to
own inbox?

Depending on your Outlook version, which you didn't mention, you can
probably use rules for this.

Thanks for the reply, I have the Student & Teacher 2003 edition. Will that
make a difference?

You should be able to use rules just fine in that version.

Thanks Sue,
I done some experimenting while waiting for your reply. I see you apply
rules to "subject" or "body" and send to a "folder" but I don't see any way
to apply a rule to a specific email account and send it to its own assigned
folder. Have I missed something or is it just not built into the program? I
can live with just using rules I think.

You must not have looked closely enough. If you start with a blank rule,
you'll find a "through the specified account" condition.

Thanks for your help, you did solve my problem. I tried the "through the
specified account" and it worked beautifully!
