e-mail after windows security update

On thursday I installed a Windows security update
(automatically)#KB832483. On Friday, I could not send or
receive e-mail and my internet explorer would not work.

Today I am able to access the web but e-mail is snail
pace.

Any ideas? can I uninstall the update to check if it is
the problem? anyone else experience this?
