I am using a PC with 1.8g speed, win98 2nd ed, and Office
2000. I have been using this combination for several
years. During the last few days, I have been unable to
access any new e-mail, can not move any e-mail to a
folder, can not delete any e-mail, and can not send any
new e-mail.
When I try to retrieve e-mail from my ISP I get the
message: "E-mail can not be retrived from the server". I
have interfaced with my ISP, Earthlink, which can not find
any problem from their systen.
When I try to move move or delete any e-mail in my system,
I get the following message: "Can't move the item(s). The
file C:\WINDOWS\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst could be accessed.
Access denied. (Account: 'mail.rnet.com', POP3
Server: 'mail.rnet.com', Error Number: 0x80040116)."
Can anyone provide an answer for these problems?
