E-mail and web address formatting

I'm trying to enter my company's email and web address on my form as normal
text. It is automatically being underlined and font color is changed to blue.
How do I turn this off?

This is default behavior in Office. After you've typed in the email or web
address, press on the [Backspace] key on your keyboard to remove the link. Or
position the cursor behind the email or web address and press once on
[Backspace] to remove the link.

Thanks, I tried that and for some reason as soon as the cursor is moved the
link returns.

When the link returns, hit [Backspace] again and it should go away.
