I am using FrontPage 2002 and have tried to change my
hyperlink on the website I am buliding to receive an
email from a customer . It appears that I changed it but
when I have the page I am working on set to Normal vs.
HTML or Preview I pass the cursor over the link, while
holding down the control key the samll hand does not
appear as it should. I amm afraid to publish the change
for the fear it will not work.

Please Someone Help!!!

If you are not logged onto the Internet when you test an
email hyperlink on your Front Page disk-based web, it
will not work. Log on and try your link.

Hi,

By default the hyperlinks are not active in preview mode of FP. You need to
edit the following registry key.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Application Compatibility
add a string entry with "frontpg.exe" and value = 1. Close all IE windows
and reopen FrontPage.

Hope this Information helps.

Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system.

That's because it is a *bug*, which is corrected in later versions of FP/IE.

When You Click a Hyperlink in FrontPage Preview, the Hyperlink Does Not Work
