e-mail links open in browser with add-ons disabled

I use Outlook 2007 and Internet Explorer. Over the weekend something
happened and now when I click on a link in an email, it opens in a new IE
window with add-ons disabled, so if I'm trying to watch a video it won't play
becuase the add-ons in IE have been disabled just in that window. I can open
a new IE window and paste the address and add-ons work just fine. This never
happened before and now it is happening on both mine and my husbands
computers.

I think there must have been an update that turned this security measure on,
but I can't find where to turn it off.
