How can I open an e-mail which has a copy of my office database? I know that
security keeps this from hoppening but what do I nned to do to allow me to
e-mail my database back and forth?

Rename the extension of the file from mdb (or mde or accdb or accde or
whatever) to something innoculous, then rename it back once you've received
it.

Incidentally, you should also zip the file: you should get a good
compression rate, meaning that the file will be much smaller.

You've been given the instructions, but one thing that should cause
you to *never* do this is if the database should happen to be
replicated. It's probably not, but if it is, this will break
replication (not immediately -- eventually, as "dead replicas" pile
up).
