E-mail notification.

What is the procedure to send the members e-mail notification of the changes
in the project plan.
I have saved the e-mail address of the members in the Enterprise Resource
Pool.
We have configured outlook express for our employees.
The SMTP Server is specified as mail.chellasoft.com
When I rejected one of the update sent by my employee I got the message that
an e-mail would be sent to the member, but it has not been sent.
What else has to be done to send mails to the members?
Please guide me.

Meena:

You must make sure that your SMTP server allows mail relay from your Project
Server.
