E-Mail reply with selected text

Hi,

when reading my E-Mail I select the text during the reading. When I want to reply then, Entourage cuts just the selected text for the reply.

Can I turn off this feature?

Sorry, no. That feature is working exactly as intended.

Selected text in a mail message will be the only text included with a reply.

You can select all text (Command-a) and it will be in the reply message.
Optionally, just click once anywhere within the message to de-select the
text and then reply.
