In my personal folders, some of my e:mail message subject liness have been
struck through. What causes the strike-through and how is this functionality
turned on / turned off in Outlook? AL 1-14-10

This suggests you are using an IMAP account and that you have marke
the messages for deletion. What type of account is it? What version o
Outlook

Aside from Brian's reply, it could also be that the items are passed their
expiry date set either by you or the sender. Another possibility is that you
have applied any custom Automatic Formatting rules.
Without any further details we can only guess ;-)
