E-mail Text is Reversed

Occassionally when a user sends an e-mail, it is received with all test
reversed.

For example, if they typed:
Hi Joe,

What time is the meeting today?

It would read something like this:
iH ,eoJ

tahW emit si eht gniteem ?yadot

I cannot find anything regarding this issue. has anyone else ever seen this
and/or know of a fix?

That's reversed by word. I would expect a reversal problem to appear as

,eoJ iH

?yadot gniteem eht si emit tahW

Nonetheless, perhaps they have configured support for a right-to-left
language such as Arabic and have accidentally turned right-to-left on.

Brian, Thank you for your response. My apologies for the confusion, you are
correct that it is the entire e-mail, not by word.

The e-mail looks normal when it is sent but when the person receives it on
the other end, it is reversed - so it would be that the recipient has
left-to-right turned on? Can you tell me how I can verify that the
right-to-left setting is not turned on? How would this be accidentally set?

Thanks again, I greatly appreciate your response.

First, let's start with you stating what version of Outlook you're using.

OK, then, click Tools>Options>Mail Format>International Options. What do
you see? Click Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts>International Fonts. What
do you see?

International Options:
1. Under Encoding Options, Auto-select encoding for outgoing messages is
checked.
2. Preferred Encoding for outgoing messages=Western European (ISO)

Fonts>International Options:
1. Under Font Settings, Western European is highlighted
2. Proportional Font: Garamond
3. Fixed-width font: Courier New
4. Font Size: Medium
5. Encoding: Western European (this is greyed out and cannot be changed)
6. Default encoding: Western European

I'm at a loss, then. Sorry.
