I started this topic yesterday in Microsoft.Public.FrontPage but have not
found the answer as of yet, hopefully this group will know.
I want to distribute a HTM page that is a form that sits on the users
desktop (ideally one file eg INPUT.HTM) and whenever they need to they fill
it in they do and click submit and then it is sent to me (basic info : Name,
Quote Number, Comments - that kind of thing). All of the users will be on
an intranet network and will have e-mail capabilities
I have tried to use the form handler wizard and have no problems designing
the form, it's just I can't get it to e-mail itself to me once they click
submit.
The Form Properties for the button are Send To / E-Mail address and the Form
Field Properties are set to Button Type = Submit, but whenever I click
Submit I get the "Cannot Find Server" Error and the URL in IE comes up as
"C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop\--WEBBOT-SELF--"
I have done some reading on the MS website and this sounds impossible. Does
anyone know of a work around.
Many thanks in advance.
